Top Two Volumising Hair Products

I’m always on the look out for good volumising products to give my hair more body and texture. I have recently found a new favourite that I want to recommend to you guys. As well as talk about one of my old favourites. They work so well together and I definitely see a huge volume boost, especially at my roots which is normally flat and lifeless.

IMG_3461Dove: Advanced Hair Series, Oxygen Moisture, Root Lift Spray (for fine, flat hair)
Boots: £5.99
Superdrug: £4.66 (currently on offer)

I first heard about this product on Amelia Liana’s youtube channel. She talked about how amazing it was and I had to try it out for myself.

How to use it: On damp hair, spray 10-12 times at the roots, covering the whole scalp. Massage it in with your fingertip then blow dry with your head upside down.

My thoughts: Initially I did not have high hopes because I have tried way too many “volumising” products that have done nothing for my hair. I was so pleased with how well this one worked. After my hair has dried, I can definitely see more volume. Having long hair really weighs down your roots, making it flat and lifeless. Having more layers will help, especially at the crown of your head. Overall I would definitely recommend this product to you. Thank you Dove!

Charles Worthingon: Body Booster Mousse

This is an old favourite and I have been using this for the past year or so.  Again, a great product which I highly recommend. It doesn’t leave your hair feeling sticky or gritty when it is dry. It also smells amazing which is a plus! I usually tilt my head upside down and mainly distribute it through my roots, as well as the rest of my hair before blow drying it.

Hope you had a restful weekend and enjoy the new week ahead!

Let me know if you have any amazing volumising product recommendations! I’d love to hear about it.

Lots of Love,
Tweedle D xoxo
