Tweedle T’s July Favourites

Hello Lovelies!

It has reached the time of the month to share with you the products I’ve been loving in the month of July. As I am back in Hong Kong, it has been hot and humid, which means I’ve had to change up my skincare and make-up routine in order to cope with the change in climate. (Please excuse my photo background as I don’t have a white desk or white wall at home)!!

Holika Holika Super Cara Mascara – 01 Super Volume
An AMAZING mascara the Tweedlets got from Seoul! I never thought I would be able to find a mascara as good as my all time holy grail Fairydrops mascara! The Holika Holika Mascara lengthens and volumizes your lashes, it was rather clumpy when I first started using it, but after a few applications, it became less clumpy and was much easier to apply.

Etude House Drawing Eyebrow – Colour 01
This works really well and is similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, however this is a cheap and cheerful alternative. It is super easy to use. I apply it to my brows, using a feathering technique, then I use the spooley brush on the other end to ‘blur’ it out a bit to give it a much softer look. It is also waterproof! Unless you rub it really hard, as I have tested it on a day out in the sea, then you can trust it not to budge.

Sunkiller Perfect Strong Plus SPF50+ PA++++
We love to tan but the freckles creeping up on our faces caused by the sun is not so great. This is the ultimate sunscreen protector the Tweedlets cannot live without! We have mentioned this a few times before and also on our instagram. Freckles caused by the sun are hard to lighten and it is better to protect your skin from UV rays before it gets any darker or grows more. I have been using this since I have been back in Hong Kong. During my trip in Qing Hai, tanning sections and boat trips, the skin colour on my face has stayed the same. I would also apply this on my body before applying any tanning oils to keep my skin protected. Even though it may take longer to tan, it is best to protect your skin from any chances of getting skin cancer.

Coppertone Tanning Dry Oil Sunscreen Spray SPF4
This is my new favourite tanning oil, I have used Piz Buin Tanning Sprays and also the Hawaiian Tropic Tanning Oil but they both feel very greasy on my skin. I brought this dry oil spray along with me on a boat trip recently, and found it very cooling and leaves my skin grease-free. It does not dry up your skin either which is great.  After a day in the sun, not only i did not get burnt, but I have also  gone much darker! Usually, it takes forever for me to tan as my skin is rather pale!

Annie’s Way Jelly Mask
This may be the best drugstore mask I’ve ever used. After cleansing your face, you would need to apply a thick amount of the product  (roughly 3-5mm thick) and leave it on for 30 – 60 min. I instantly felt a  difference after rinsing the mask off. My skin was hydrated, soft and smooth. I usually use the jelly masks every other day, rotating between the three other types of masks I have bought below:

Snail Repairing – Repairs your skin and gives you long lasting moisture. Snail masks have also been a hyped this year as it can help regenerate your skin cells.

Arbutin + Hyaluronic Acid Jelly Mask – Hydrates and Lighten dark spots and scares on skin.

Italian Red Wine – Antioxidant, Regulates Skin Dullness.

Laneige Water Sleeping Pack EX
Laneige is a very popular brand in Asia as it has a special snow water technology that hydrates and locks in your skin’s moisture. This is a leave on mask that you apply after your toner, essence, moisturizer, which is super easy to use.  I have been using this masks for years now. It is a great product as it instantly hydrates my skin overnight leaving it soft and fully nourished after my beauty sleep.

Charles Worthington Dry Shampoo
You should know by now that I’m a BIG Charles Worthington fan :)! I picked this up a few months ago at Boots (I much prefer this over the Batiste Dry Shampoo, as it doesn’t work for me). I bring this with me to the gym every time! It instantly refreshes my hair without weighing it down or leaving white streaks. I also use this on days I don’t wash my hair, it mattifies my hair instantly and no reapplication is needed during the day. It has a light fragrance which is not too overwhelming. This has been added to my Charles Worthington love list!

Have a good weekend sweeties! Remember to apply that SPF!!!!!!!!! :D

Lots of Love,

Tweedle T x
