I hope you are having a nice week so far! I previously blogged about my favourite Mascaras. And today I would like to blog about my least favourite Mascaras that I would not purchase again. I am sure these mascaras work great on many people. But I have straight, asian lashes so the products work quite differently for me!
Least Favourite #1 – Droopy Lashes
L’oreal’s Volume Supreme Millions
This product does no good for my lashes whatsoever! After curling my lashes, I apply a coat of this and immediately my lashes droop and become straight again. I guess the formula of this mascara is quite heavy and wet therefore drags my lashes down. I tried re-curling them after 2 coats of of it but still had no luck!
Least Favourite #2 – Not Volumising / Lengthening
Benefit – They’re Real
I remember really wanting to try out this mascara when it first came out. The ads were saying how much longer this mascara would make you eyelashes look. I was really excited when I got gifted this by my friend a year back. But when I applied this to my lashes, I was quite disappointed with the results – mainly with the length of my lashes. I think it is a very average mascara that did not lengthen my lashes. It also does not hold a curl very well. The applicator brush is really plasticy which I also do not like.
Least Favourite #3 – Very Sticky / Clumpy formula
Majolica Majorca – Lash Enamel Glamour Volume
In Asia, this mascara is ranked #1 in the Majolica Majorca line so its sad that I dislike this product. I find this mascara much too wet and makes your lashes clump together and looks very spidery. I thought it would only be so wet for the first few applications as it is a new tube. However, I have given it many attempts now and results are the same. Moreover, this waterproof mascara is majorly difficult to remove (it may be a good thing for some people I guess!)! I usually always opt for a waterproof version of any mascara if it is available – however, this mascara requires proper rubbing with a cotton pad for it to come off, which is definitely not good for pre-mature wrinkles!
Anyway these are just my views and opinion for mascaras to avoid for Asian lashes!!! :) Hope it has helped some of you!
Enjoy the rest of your week.
Lots of Love,
Tweedle D xoxoxo
Benefits “They’re Real” wasn’t great for me either, at one point when I was using it the plastic brush somehow managed to scratch my eye :/ Don’t ask how it happened. I have no idea.
Oh noo!!! Yeah, I guess we won’t be getting Benefit’s Mascaras again!! :P Though I am keen to try Urban Decay’s Canonball Mascara. Have you tried that one before? :)

No I haven’t but Urban Decay is usually good. I’m using Loreal “Miss Manga” at the moment and I love it :) x
I can’t believe the fuss behind the ‘They’re Real’ from Benefit !! honestly there are far better mascaras out there!
I just followed you on Bloglovin, Twitter
maybe follow mine too :)
& Instagram! :)
Haha All the social media networks !!

Hey Serene,
