I have tried soooo many different Mascaras since I started experimenting with make-up. And I absolutely hate the feeling of spending money on a mascara only to find out that its useless for my lashes. 100 dollars down the drain! Therefore, I would like to share with you the 3 mascaras that have not failed me. I always end up buying these babies again after many failed attempts to find a new mascara. I will also do a “Least favourite mascaras” blog soon, so that if you have Asian lashes like mine then you know what products you shouldn’t waste your money on!

1- Maybelline The Colossal Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara
2- Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara

After curling my lashes I would apply one coat of Maybelline Colossal and as I am waiting for the 1st coat to dry, I would fill in my brows, then go back to applying the 2nd layer of mascara using the Maybelline Falsies (hence different brows in the two pics). I find that this mascara combo really gives me the longest looking lashes. Using two coats of Colossal on its own does not give the same effect as this combo. Both mascaras have quite a dry formula, therefore really helps my lashes stay curled all throughout the day. I apply my mascara at 7am in the morning and at 11pm they are still really curled and volumised which I really love! The waterproof formula ensures that the mascara doesn’t run or smudge even if your eye area gets oily.

Day to Day Mascara

Fairydrops Platinum Mascara (Waterproof)

This Japanese mascara is also another one of my favourites. You can never go wrong with this one! When I am travelling and want to save space, I would bring this with me instead of the 2 Maybelline picks above. This mascara again has a dryer formula therefore does a fantastic job at keeping a curl. 2 coats are enough to give your lashes a huge lift, helping to open your eyes making them look larger. Again, the waterproof formula ensures that it won’t flake off or smudge during the day, no matter how hot and sweaty you get!
